Thrive Juice Bar & Kitchen is now accepting applications for a variety of positions that will begin work this Spring! The pay for all positions is competitive and based on experience, availability and how you can positively impact our business. There is room for growth within our company in all of our positions. COUNTER STAFF: Please apply if you are motivated, self-starting, hard-working, organized, reliable, personable, and have a willingness to work mornings. Tasks will include making fresh juices and smoothies, assisting customers, handling cash register transactions, prepping food items, restocking, cleaning and maintaining equipment and dining areas. What we will be: Fair, kind, fun employers who promote healthy living and a positive work environment.
KITCHEN STAFF: Please apply if you have kitchen experience and are creative, detail oriented, reliable and hard-working! Come work behind the scenes at our fun and high-energy juice bar and kitchen. Tasks will include prepping food items, providing support to the counter staff team, receiving and organizing deliveries, cleaning and maintaining kitchen work space and equipment. Particular interest in, or passion for healthy food and healthy living is a huge plus! (but not required).
COUNTER SUPERVISOR: We are looking for a full-time motivated and conscientious leader to fill in as a supervisor and to work as a strong member of the counter staff on other days. The ideal applicant would have previous leadership experience, a passion for healthy living and a flexible work schedule for the full season (through October.) Tasks will include assisting customers, making decisions regarding staffing and service, handling payment transactions, prepping food items, assisting with staff training, preparing juices, smoothies and salad, etc. The pay is dependent on experience and overall performance, but ranges between $12 and $16 an hour, plus tips. The person in this position could find great opportunity for growth within our company.
PART-TIME BAKER: We are looking for an experienced and motivated baker to join our team (20-30 hours/week). Late evening, or very early-morning availability is a must. Commercial baking experience is required and a passion for healthy living/eating and experience with with vegan and gluten-free baking is preferred. Tasks will include: preparing vegan and gluten-free baked goods, raw desserts and snacks; assisting in the development of creative, healthy, and cost-effective recipes; cleaning and maintaining kitchen work space and equipment. All counter staff work will begin in early May. Kitchen Staff will start work in late April. Preference will be given to individuals who are looking for full-time work, to those who can commit to a full-season (through the end of October), and to those who have secured housing.
